      <title>Porting from PC Mobile to PM?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I understand that when wanting to port my number from PC Mobile to PM that I first have to activate my PM SIM card with a new number, then request my PCM number be ported over. How long does this take?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The actual porting should be complete within 2.5 hours. However, the wait for a moderator to start the process needs to be taken into account. A moderator could respond to you in a few minutes, or it might take a day or two.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can OP bypass the moderator by porting at activation as outlined in the Announcements.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;As a new customer&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, we recommend porting a number at activation with the exception of Koodo Prepaid customers.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;UL class="lia-list-style-type-circle"&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We have made some system enhancements to improve the success rate of this activity. So long as the correct information is entered, this process should be seamless&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You will need to submit a ticket to get a moderator to assist with the port.&amp;nbsp; Also you need to keep your PC mobile account opening during porting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You would need moderator assistance. Here is the link to create a ticket through SIMon: &lt;A href="https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help&lt;/A&gt; &amp;nbsp; -&amp;gt; Click on Chat with Simon on the line "ask me something" write "moderator" -&amp;gt; then click on "account specific question" -&amp;gt; afterward click on "no, I want a human" -&amp;gt; finally you will see an answer "submit a ticket Click me!"&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
