      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you sign in to self-serve, and click on "change number", there's an option to "Transfer a wireless or wireline number from another provider".&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That wasn't working for me, so then I had to talk to the bot, and put in a ticket for the Mods, who were able to switch it over after a couple of hours after confirming some info. The Mods can take up to a few days to respond if they're busy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Edit: Make sure you keep your account with your current/former provider until the switch happens, otherwise you could lose your old number!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
