Unregistered Sim

I am getting " Unregistered Sim " on my phone plus " Sim not allowed for voice". Anyone else have this problem ? I sent a message to Alex but not sure if he is around.

Thanks for letting us know, so we know what to suggest if somebody runs into similar issue.

@Luddite I think it may be useful to have this marked as resolved. I understand it's frowned upon so the op don't want to mark their own answer as solution, but life happens and it really is. Would you mind marking it? Thank you lots and lots
