@Druberger "To access voicemail messages from your mobile device, hold down the ‘1’ key on your phone keypad. You can also access your voicemail from a landline or any other phone line, by dialing your 10-digit phone number, selecting ‘Send’ or ‘Call’ and then pressing ‘*’ to skip the system greeting."

You can also dial your own number from your phone.

What's the make and model of your phone ?
We're you able to set up your voicemail?
Can you access your voicemail by pressing 1 on your phone?
And can you access your voicemail of you dial from another phone, press * to interrupt the message and enter your password with the # sign?

When you try to access it, is the phone number blank? Sometimes after activating a new account or switching to a new sim card, a device restart is needed to force the network to push the correct setting to the sim card.

Voicemail calling is not free so make sure you have outgoing minutes. Call +16477001777 to set up your voicemail.

Good of you to join in and participate but that number is not correct for here. The only limited minutes plan now is the $15 plan. Otherwise the rest are unlimited Canada-wide so there's no concern about minutes.

That number reaches Freedom Mobile's voicemail system. That's not going to help with setting up a Public Mobile voice mailbox, whose access numbers I referenced prior to your post.
