Why did you lock my phone

I have had no service since last Thursday

started a ticket on Saturday I have had no answer

drove 2 hours to repair center for apple

was told you guys locked my phone

I want it unlocked I am not happy

Is your Account status active and in good standing??

It sounds to me that its an issue with your actual phone...going to just guess..but did you buy the phone second hand from a third party??.... they may have reported it stolen and the phone is blacklisted.

Since it seems that somehow Simon failed to send the ticket for you. Keep an eye on the envelope top right of your screen . The answer from the mods will show up there.

Who sold you your iPhone?

If your iPhone is sold in Canada, Apple store can unlock your iPhone as CRTC said Canadian providers cannot lock their phone they sold.

May be some one reported your phone was stolen if you buy it used.

And yes account is in good standing autopay

and as I said took phone in to the jump store. after I took it back to Home Hardware they gave me the number of store to make appointment to take phone oh for warranty tech told me it was probably flagged as lost /stolen by public mobile and I want it fixed

It was new out off box the only card that went in phone was yours

Error message is no service

when I go in settings about go to network says phone not allowed

Check your imei number here. This will tell if it is listed as stolen or blacklisted.

And really Home Hardware sells iphones? New or used? In the store or in the parking lot?

@Ileger A phone can be brand new in box and still get blacklisted (Maybe because it was stolen etc).

Public Mobile does not sell or lock phones. Take it back wherever you bought it and ask for your money back.

To test put your PM sim card in another phone and if it works then your phone is blacklisted.

Do a network reset

Then reboot

If that does not work ....

Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

Make sure you know the passcode and that you sign off of icloud and find my iphone first.

Well just got off phone from bell aliant

phone is blacklisted told me to take it back to store wouldn't tell me why
