If you are outside Canada you will not be able to send or &lt;FONT color="#999999"&gt;receive(?)&lt;/FONT&gt; texts without a roaming add-on (only available for the US).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

And you will receive texts but will Not be able to reply to them without a roaming add on. Try adding TextNow and use over WiFi to make and receive calls.       <description>&lt;P&gt;If you are in the US without a roamin add-on, you can be rest assured that you will never be charged anything extra than what you already purchased.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As such, feel free to "try" calling, texting, etc without worry. Most things won't work, but there's no risk of extra cost from letting your phone connect. According to reports you can expect to still be able to receive text messages, and possibly(?) receive calls while in the US without a roaming add-on. Otherwise, purchase the add-ons you need.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
