You can do this through the previous provider or the manufacturer. I take that with a truck load of salt.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Edit after doing my own digging...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Manufacturer specs tell me that it has 3G bands B2 and B5, so it works for talk on Public Mobile, and I saw LTE B4, B7, B13, B17 meaning that most LTE bands are available as well.&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.motorola.com/us/products/moto-e-gen-4" target="_self"&gt;https://www.motorola.com/us/products/moto-e-gen-4&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, if this 2017 phone has been used on a Canadian network before and is unlocked (something the op has not clarified), then it works on Public Mobile.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Seems to me more sources suggest it should be fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, I find that I'm almost always still on the LTE network with Public Mobile, the speed is just throttled to 3G, not usually actually on the 3G network!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
