At least for your Public Mobile service, you don't need to concern your self with local calling areas. All currently offered plans include calls to any Canadian phone number and you can also receive calls while you are anywhere in Canada.

The only thing you really need to concern yourself if your chosen phone number is local for people who are trying to call you.
