PM would not offer OS updates. It would be the manufacturer of your phone who would do the updates.

So when would I have gotten the latest security update for an S10 or upgrade to Android? At Telus it was on Jan.17 for Security update and Android 10 was on Dec.16.

Does anyone have an S10 and when was the latest updated you received?

Public Mobile does not sell phones. So they do not supply updates.

If you bought your phone from another cell provider, that company will be providing the updates.

Yes I already know how to do that. I was just wondering if PM follows the same schedule as Telus, which I know now they don't.

I just hope I won't have to wait longer than when Telus releases there update.

@iamcdn You won't be getting any updates from PM, the updates should be coming from Samsung. Have you tried Samsung website?

I followed Telus schedule for my P30 & P30PRO..but since both are with Koodo I presume that's why I got the updates. Release date for mine on link was Jan 15th and I got the updates on the 16th.

DID NOT remove PM sims from the phones...

I have a Xioami Mi A2 Lite and I got the January security update on Sunday. But I had to give it a bump by going to Settings > System > Advanced > System Update > Check For Updates.

Hoping for Android 10 any day now . . .

Its too bad you didn't have a Samsung, just found this out by researching that you can use Smart Switch to update your OS if it's been made available to your region. https://www.androidcentral.com/how-update-your-samsung-phone-smart-switch

Another forum I watch has reported some issues with Android 10.

I'm don't have a pixel and haven't had those problems that they reported.

The only issue I have is that some apps inside Good Lock are not compatible Android 10 and have to wait for them to update the app so its compatible which will start to be released on Feb 3 in South Korea initially
