      <description>&lt;P&gt;I ported my number from Telus but I'm still not activated on the Public network. Infact, I have no service at all! I did the switch several hours ago.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;no service that is strange.&amp;nbsp; stuck ports will still have service (outgoing and data)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;does the sim connect to the PM Network?&amp;nbsp; have you tried doing a manual network search?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;can you log into your selfserve account what does the status say?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;did you get a welcome email from public (home actiation)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;did your sim get activated properly?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;your old telus sim should still work does it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/101411"&gt;@totalUser&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;there might be a stuck port, but you are jumping the gun with that sole conclusion.&amp;nbsp; With stuck ports outgoing calls and sms&amp;nbsp; work,&amp;nbsp; and so does data... no service implies other factors:&amp;nbsp; failed activation,&amp;nbsp; need a network search etc... more informtion is needed from the poster to identify the issue before contacting mods.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
