It is recommended to change your plan on next renewal date so you don't t lose any unused minutes/texts or data.

If you don't aready have an addon for outgoing calling minutes such as the 400 minute Canada/US addon given to us at Christmas, you might want to purchase the $5 for 500 Canada Wide minutes add on in case you run out and really need to make a call.

These minutes won't expire until you use them. My wife added this to her $15 plan and she has used about 100 minutes over 4 months, but the key is she always has minutes in an emergency.
