I'm looking at purchasing a Motorola G7 power (international) from Amazon.ca.

My question is about the frequencys that are used. The international version of this phone only supports 1/3 4G bands.. how would this potentially effect service?

My current galaxy s6 only supports 1/3 4G bands as well but it's a different band. Service on this phone is great.

1/3, 3/3 would you even notice a difference? Or bottom line the phone will just work..

@dj_simms If you buy the Model XT1962-4 it will work well with Public's network. It supports the following bands:

HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100

4G LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700), 20(800), 25(1900), 26(850), 66(1700/2100), 38(2600), 40(2300), 41(2500) - Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by)

@dj_simms , if you are looking to using a phone that has some of the supported LTE bands, make sure band 4 is covered. It's one of the most popular bands and will ensure very good coverage even if that is the only compatible band on the phone.
