Unlocking a Blackberry phone

Friend just joined PM ( was with FIdo ). He has a Blackberry and after activating the PM SIM card and putting it in the phone, it asked for a MEP code. Any ideas on how to get this unlocked?

You'll get that from previoius cell service provider.

Alternative is to get an unlock code on ebay.
