Hi @kssimpson

Can you please try the sim on a phone that is known to work with telus/koodo/public mobile. You can go to koodo or telus store to try it o.j. a loaner if you our your family/friends don't have one

If they canceled your acount that means your activation was successful. Check your credit card statement too, it should show

Also try logging into your selfserve with the credentials you specified during activating

Hi,

I cannot get my SIM to list as registered. It says invalid SIM. I received a call from public Mobile and they have cancelled my Roger's account so am now sitting with no cell service. It says locked SIM card. This was done over 4 hours ago.

What kind of phone do you have?...is it an older phone?. It could possibly be carrier locked to the provider you bought the phone from. I presume it's Rogers? If that is the case you would have to call them and request the unlock code so the phone and Public Mobile sim will work.

Are you officially signed up with Public Mobile? I had a problem when I was registering the other day. I just cleared the cache and waited a while and tried to register again and the sim worked. It didn’t say invalid any more. You might also want to change the browser while registering. It worked for me.

Have you tried the sim in a phone to see if the first activation was successful?

Edit typically Porting (old onlyaccount closed) happens when sim card gets activated.

Sim card locked means you phone is locked to Rogers. Call Rogers to get the unlock code
