@70milehouse Public mobile does not sell phones. It's byob (phone). There are lots of deal for unlocked phones especially for boxing day. Check out the sales, online at Amazon.ca (see Umidigi A5 pro) Cost $135 cdn all in w/free shipping just gave it to the bf for xmas...pretty awesome. But lots of good deals at visions, the source, staples etc w/free shipping. Free month promo ends soon?!! Just need sim card to activate plan you can get a phone shipped in a couple of days.

Accounts with Public Mobile can only be activated if you own your phone. Make sure to check your account balance with your current mobile service provider first before you activate your account with PM.

Side note: Once you own your phone, you might receive a bill from your current provider and get charged a prorated amount for the time you use their services before you switch to PM.
