    <description>&lt;P&gt;I started my PM account June 17 and prepaid $40. So if I cancel my service today, I wont have to pay the amount it says I owe on July 17?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If you don't pay for it up front then you don't get to use it at all. There are no pay per use services here. That's a post-paid service. You probably sorta got a pro-rated refund but maybe you had a device balance or the usual charges were more than that pro-rated refund so you ended up paying to get out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
