Can a person go over in their data usage or does it just stop once you hit your ceiling?

There are no overages with PM. Once you reach your limit then the data stops.

If you run out you can buy add-on, you can upgrade yourself from the self-serve, or you can contact moderators to renew you early.

@immyonlyfanif you run out of data and decide to do an immediate plan change, know that you will lose the remainder of the first plan payment to get the new plan to start immediately.
