Unlimited picture texting

Hi, I have unlimited picture texting on my plan and I know I have to turn data on for this. But it doesn’t seem to be unlimited. On my public mobile account my data usage went up when I sent a picture text. So it is using my data amount and does not seem to be unlimited.

@EchomackayIf you are on an iPhone make sure you have MMS fallback enabled.

Yes I agree. The MMS needs to be enabled as the SMS will use ur data. It says in the fine print under the selection.

the MMS is the free text messaging system only on the plan. ✅

Check your detailed usage history. Yes, picture MMS will use data. But the data usage is not counted against your plan data.

Please post a screenshot of your detailed usage history with your personal data(name, phone# etc) marked out. We will take a look what had happened.

@Echomackay are you looking at the data usage counter built into your iPhone, or the Overview page on Public Mobile's self-serve site?
