Some texts send, some don't...

Hi,

I'm having difficulty sending texts. I can send texts to some people on my contacts list, but not to others. I have tried changing my APN and have pulled my SIM card out and put it back in. No joy. Please could anyone offer any other ideas? Thanks!

@GeeBee what kind of phone? Apn has nothing to do with sending text!

@GeeBee, MMS is affected by APN settings not SMS. As long as you can send even one successfully, it means the APN is fine. I think there may be something not right with the messaging app. If you are using an android device, try deleting the messaging app cache, force closing the app and restarting the phone.

Without any more info, this sounds like the Apple / Android problem yet again. In my case moving my SIM from an iPhone to an Android without adjusting the settings relating to Apple ID left me receiving some texts but not others.
