Is a Public Mobile compatible with Nexus 6p?

I am wondering if public mobile will work with my Nexus 6P phone. I want to make the switch to Public Mobile but Nexus isn't even listed in the Phone Capatability tool.

As a Nexus device, it would have never been locked even if sold by a carrier. This is true for Nexus phones even before mandatory unlocking rules started.
