Not getting texts from one number

I am not getting my text messages from a certain friend, all others seem to be fine, even others on the same network. Help!

Make sure you didn't block your friend accidentally, you can find the settings in the messager

Tried sim in 2 phones, an android and my iphone 6 I primarily use my iphone 6

That is so strange, maybe your friend number is blacklisted

You could try contacting moderators

Also try different Messengers maybe it's sinking your preferences

Its text not messenger. I dont have a block feature on text.

is it a text or an imessage? if it is an imessage and you changed your numer make sure you upated with imessage.

This exact same thing happens with a colleague of mine. He has never received a text from me, but he can text me. It wasn't an accidental block or anything like that, it was the first time we exchanged numbers.

Not sure this will do any good, but if it's blocked on iphone you should see it here.

1. Open Settings.
2. Scroll down and tap Phone.
3. Tap Call Blocking & Identification.
4. Tap Edit.
5. Tap a red circle.
6. Tap Unblock.

Open Settings and tap Messages.
Scroll down and tap Blocked.
Swipe right to left on the number you want to unblock and tap Unblock.

it could be an issue on his end. could your friend change phones to see if it is their phone?
