Payments sit as available balance until the renewal process begins, and any left over value from Available balance remains as available balance.

The $45 was used for the current renewal, and $2.20 is left for next time.

I'm not sure how you're values that are not whole figures, as taxes are account for outside of the system, and all payments and credits in My Account are listed as full dollars.

My account costs $25/month then less $4.00 for loyalty. I owed $1.80 for this month's payment. I put $45.00 in my account to cover the $1.80 plus future payments. When the payment came out of my account for this month, it indicated that I'd owe $2.20 for next months payment. Where did my money go?
