Hello ,

Has anyone tried the network strength outside of London, in the suburbs as Komoka , Dorchester, Oneida?

would be glad to hear your experience!

I was intrigued by @Triguy's comment "If there are Telus or Bell towers then there should be coverage.". I wanted to learn more and did some research. Here is a super great post by @sheytoon on network sharing. It's there you will learn that "Bell and Telus only share the RAN across Canada." (what ? ). Don't trust me, go and read it ! Once you're a pro on network sharing @mhr1 , you can go to this page and check where are Bell's or Telus' towers in your area. By clicking on a logo (they indicate towers), a window will open and give you the distance between you (somewhere on the map) and that tower. For example, I checked for the centre of Komoka... there are a few towers around it at about 3 km. It should provide good signal... but the best answer will be from someone living in Komoka.

Hi @mhr1, to answer your question, the coverage will be exactly the same for Telus, Koodo, Public Mobile, Bell, Virgin, Lucky Mobile. If you know anyone on any of those providers, it'll be the same.

The towers from Bell or Telus are used for public mobile.

Hi @mhr1, it's Bell and Telus who own the towers (as well as Sasktel). The rest of the sub-brands are virtual operators. They don't own any network infrastructure of their own. See here for all the details:
