Hey:) So I figured out that my SMSC number is probably what is the problem. The only thing is that I tried to switch it over to the 16475800172 number through an app and it did work. The number is now that but it is still greyed out and I still can't text. Any ideas?

@CatMom , can you check your usage history to make sure the text are being sent and registering in the system as sent. Also what texting app are you using?

@CatMom Try sending the text by entering the number directly instead of using your contacts.

My wife has an iphone and i have an android, we had this all the time with imessage. If you have an iphone, i'd look there first.
