Hi: Seems like this is a common topic. Can someone please point me to the correct settings so that I can get tethering working here in the US using my iPhone?

@lfaber , I don't believe tethering should be different in the US vs Canada. This link should help set everything up.

Settings --> Cellular --> Cellular Data Options --> Data Roaming = ON

Settings --> Cellular --> Cellular Data Network --> Personal Hotspot APN = sp.mb.com or isp.mb.com (there's some evidence that isp.mb.com may not yield 4G/LTE connection, so YMMV)

Configure your personal hotspot using the information at the link provided by @Tiprix

As you probably know, you'll need to have a US data roaming add-on.

@Tiprix & @CalgaryBen: I had both settings already set exactly as you both suggested. I just thought that there may some nuance I was missing.

Back to the drawing board!

Are you having trouble creating the personal hotspot or connecting to it?? Is your cellular data on the iPhone itself working? With more context, this can likely be resolved...
