i cant seemo find out my meid # The # it gave me did not come up on this site. Please can someone help me with this?Thanks How can i find my meid #?

Are you referring to the IMEI?

Dial *#06# on your phone. If your phone is working, your IMEI will pop up.

MEID is used on CDMA networks. As Shazia has already implied above, the equivalent serial number for phones used on UMTS and LTE networks is IMEI.

Hello, yes iam referrring to the imei. i tried the *#06thing and it gave me letters along with numbers but was only 10 long and it didnt work when i put it in the check phone on here.Would you have any other suggestions. your input would be greatly appreciated thank you

If you are searching for the IMEI number just to check if the phone is compatible with Public Mobile, we can help you look that up if you share the phone brand, model variant etc.

Or you can go to willmyphonework.net and check for yourself.

@sage60 That looks like the pseudo-ESN of a CDMA phone. Please specify where you bought the phone from, what phone it is, and the specific model of the phone (usually written on the back or under the removable battery). Unless I am totally mistaken, you will not be able to use this phone on the Telus/PM network.

Hi @sage60: 80F3502F is Hexadecimal for 2163429423. This 10-digit number should be the IMEI you are looking for.

@srlawren As a fellow (recovering) coder, I do appreciate the thought. However, that's how how IMEIs work. IMEIs are always 15 digits long, and are not usually expressed in hex notation.

Moreover, even the decimal form of a p-ESN (or ESN) cannot be obtained simply by calculating the base-10 value of the original base-16 number.

According to http://www.esnconverter.com/ , the decimal value of an ESN of 80f3502f would be 12815945775.
