I refered my friend and he activated his sim card online on March 31 and only received $1 instead of the promotional $25

The official line is that the $25 should appear before 72 hours. It should probably arrive overnight.

If the friend did this after midnight ET (ie. 9pm PT) then he would probably be out of luck.
