You don't need to worry about data overages. Once you run out of data, your data will just stop. No extra charges.

Hello 1zzaman0,

Public Mobile also sends you a text message when you are almost at your limit (at 75% I believe). Furthermore, you can also set up your phone to give you data usage warnings by following the below steps.

Andriod:

Settings>Data Usage>Turn on mobile data

From here you should see different options for mobile data

As a prepaid service, Public Mobile will not be charging you after ("post") your usage - if you try using more than you paid for, it will just halt instead until your next top-up payment.

Just to add to a post above me, Public Mobile sends a data usage alert via SMS when you use over 75% and 95% of your allowance. It’s not always on the spot however, I find there’s a slight delay.

There’s no alert at 100% used, your data services will just be suspended and any attempt to use it will direct you to the “zero balance” captive page.
