question about $15 plan

$15 plan says 100 minutes canada wide and unlimited incoming calls. Does that mean that minutes are only deducted from 100 minutes for out going calls?

Unlimited in-coming calls. 100mins of out-bound calls.

Yes and you can add 500 Canada wide minutes for only $5 that will stay with your account until totally used up for even greater value.

That is like an insurance policy. If suddenly you are needing to make more outbound calls than normal, rather than suddenly having outbound service just stop working you would begin to consume minutes from the $5/500 minute add on. If you use 50 of them up and then your plan renewal you are back to working from the included 100 minutes in your plan and the remaining 450 minutes in the add on is standing by for as long as it takes you to again run out of included outgoing minutes. Virtually everyone with the $15 plan and only 100 minutes of outbound calling should spring for this because you just know it is going to be extremely inconvenient when it happens!

This is only true for the "new" version of the $15 plan. There are two versions of this plan: For a couple of weeks when the plan was first introduced it was offered as 100minutes of combined incoming and outgoing minutes. This was later changed to 100minutes outgoing and unlimited incoming. If you are on the first version of this plan you need to manually future date the change for the next renenewal date to take advantage of the unlimited incoming minutes.

Yes, only on outgoing. Incoming minutes should all be free so let your buddies know to call you instead by text 🙂
