Sometimes we think our phone is unlocked, but its actually locked. Try sim in another unlocked phone. that will isolate a sim issue vs a hardware issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Sometimes, when switching sim cards (if you had a different carrier's sim card in there before), it is necessary to activate the device while connecting to the Apple server. I know iTunes is the old-fashioned way of activation but it is stil a method that should work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
