Access voiclemail

Hi there all, I am trying to access my voicemail from a landline and forgot my pin number so went to reset it and it said to use my phone number as temporay access to change the pin. However that did not work as it says you have entered an invalid pin. I need to know how to access my voicemail now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I tried that and it said this. "Your Voicemail password has been reset. Please note that your temporary password is the same as your 10-digit mobile phone number. You can now access your Voicemail box and change your password." However when I try to use my number it doesn't work.
