How do I disable voicemail?

The only time I ever go into voicemail is to delete spam messages so I can get rid of the notification icon. I want to disable voicemail completly.

Also, Public Mobile, is it really that hard to automatically delete or ignore a 1-second-long message that is just silence? Those are 90% of the voicemail messages I get. 1 second of silence. It's beyond stupid that I need to go in and manually delete those.

Hi there are really two options enable extended absence option, that disables leaving a message.

Change the forwarding number to a non existant number, the first option is probably the best option.

I actually have the same problem, that might be a good option to reduce the spam.
