Hello,

Does anyone know if Public Mobile is compatible with Xiaomi Mi8? I have looked through the compatibility list but only saw Xiaomi Mi6 and earlier models. Can someone confirm on why Mi8 may not work?

Check frequencies on the model you you have

To make calls it will need umts 850 and 1900.

Check the phone specs.

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

Which Xiaomi Mi8 model do you have?

In general, it should be ok if you have their Global version.
