Beeping During Call

Hey all, wondering if anyone else has ever had this issue before or insight as to what this might mean.

Ever since I've had my plan with PM, when on a phone call, every few minutes there is a beep, as if the other person is dialing a number on their keypad. This happens at some point on almost every phone call, and I’ve even asked people before if they’ve accidentally been hitting any buttons.

It’s not a big issue, but I’m still wondering if there is a solution.

Could be your call waiting. Could be software making sounds to inform call is being recorded. Is it a 3 way phone call?

I have never noticed any beeping during calls.

Does it occur on incoming, outgoing or both types of calls?

Maybe check your voicemail ...clear out old messages.

To answer these questions, I’ve never done a 3 way call before, so it’s only happened on 2 way calls. And I’m not actually sure if it happens both when I receive AND make calls, but I’ll have to pay more attention next time to this. Also, I don’t think my mailbox is affecting this as I always clear it out whenever I get a new voicemail.
