Flip LG-C441 F4NR - Compatibility ?

This LG model is not in the compatibility list. However it work as per LG spec on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and on UMTS 850/1900. This phone is presently working with Solo Mobile. Possibly future PM customer but want to make sure first this phone will work on PM network. Intended usage: call & text only, no data. Thanks

It should work since it has 3G 850/1900 which iis what Public Mobile uses.

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

My mother and my friend both have one that I transfered from bell Mobility and they work great, only thing I had to mess with was the mms settings to get the picture messages to work

Flip LG-C441 F4NR should work with PM. A few years ago, Visions Electronics was clearing out the Virgin Mobile Flip LG-C441 F4NR for $10. Since Bell/Telus are sharing towers, this flip phone should work with PM.

Edit: At that time, Telus was going to turn off the CDMA service and forcing Telus subscribers to get SIM card phone. I purchased a few Virgin LG-C441 for my family members at $10 each and they are still using them on Telus prepaid. Now, I need to get them to switch to PM.

I have personally got this model to work with Public Mobile. Even the APN settings work, though it was a little tricky to set them up.
