Hmmm this is not very clear to me...

First, in theory, when you renew your plan you should always have access to the same plan you have - there is nothing else to do than paying.

Then, where in your phone do you check to see 6.2 GB?

You should check in your selfserve account to see how much data you have left.

The data used in selfserve (real) and on your phone (calculated by your phone/the app you installed) is not always the same.

If you just renewed and right away, you haven't used your phone at all and you have only 6.20 GB left on your selfserve account, then you may want to contact the mods, but otherwise it is probably just because your phone used some data.

How did you pay?

If it's plan due date, then you're renewing the plan. It should give you 8GB.

If not, then you're just adding to the balance. It should show whatever you're left with for the current cycle. The system will take your money from the balance upon plan due date.

I assume 6.2GB is whatever you're left with.
