MMS not sending

Hi there,

My MMS images arent sending through text messages even though it was fine a few days ago. I havent messed with anything and I have the data and the text plan for it.

Are you able to browse the internet with your data?

Are your other services working? Calls in/out? Texts in/out?

Is your data mode on?

One recipient? Any?

Yep everything else is working fine.

I tried sending pics to a few people just to check and none went through

Maybe one of the pics was too big. If you're willing, just delete all the conversations that had MMS in them and try again. Maybe one of them got stuck. Of course the recipient needs to have data on to receive.

Check the message settings on your phone, that it's set to accept MMS, or try restarting your phone, I find that works with android phones. If that doesn't work then there could be a service disruption in your area.

@Lulupynn To send MMS you don't need data but you must have data turned on. You must also have the correct APN setting selected. The APN setting must have mms as part of the APN Type.

These are the Public Mobile APN settings you need:

Name: Public Mobile
APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Leave blank
Port: Leave blank
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank
Server: Leave blank
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMSC proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Leave blank
APN type: default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO type: GID
MVNO value: 4D4F

Don't forget to save these settings and then select this APN as the active one.

Do you mean you get an error message when you send an MMS? If so what is the message?

Have you tried other messaging apps? eg Textra or Android Messaging? Perhaps it is a screwed up app?

does this work if I do have data as well? Everything seems to be working but i can't seem to send pictures by text.

APN settings are the same for picture messages if you have data in your plan.
