      <title>Cannot get data working on Moto G</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been with PM for a while and although my plan includes data I have never been able to get it working on my phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've looked at all the posts, tried to manually input the APN settings, but the one thing I'm stumped on, is:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when I go to Settings &amp;gt; More &amp;gt; Mobile Networks &amp;gt; APNs &amp;gt; Public Mobile&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the category APN enable/disable is in grey and I cannot move it from off to on&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;.....why?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Its a Moto G 4 bought in Canada&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Android 5.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;current apn settigs are as in this post (cant do screen shot)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://apn-canada.gishan.net/en/apn/public-mobile/android" target="_blank"&gt;https://apn-canada.gishan.net/en/apn/public-mobile/android&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;EXCEPT&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;APH enable/disable is in grey, there is no box with a check mark in it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

To setup the APN settings on that phone do the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Swipe up to view Apps&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Scrool to and touch &lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Touch &lt;STRONG&gt;More&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Touch &lt;STRONG&gt;Cellular Networks&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Touch &lt;STRONG&gt;Access Ponts Names&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Touch &lt;STRONG&gt;Menu&lt;/STRONG&gt; icon&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Touch &lt;STRONG&gt;Reset to default&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Restoring default APN settings will appear briefly.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/81735"&gt;@cmd73&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; does the data addon show in selfserve in plan and addons?&amp;nbsp; i'm assuming it will say 0/x mb&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would also try a network settings reset&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;also do you see lte in the top bar?&amp;nbsp; are you able to receive/send&amp;nbsp; mms?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i would try sim in different phone, this could help isolate a hardware vs account issue&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;are you able to manually add a new apn?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Just select the APN and reset your phone. Does it work?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If so do you still have that SIM card.. put that in and see if you can edit / enable it.. and swap the SIM card without powering off. Android is so cobbled together it does strange things.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
