If I buy an Iphone from Apple, could I use that phone with Public Mobile?

I heard that with Public Mobile, you can only use the phones (limited in choice) given by Public Mobile and I was wondering if this was true.

Hello,

What you heard is untrue. Public Mobile does not sell phones, though it used to until several months ago.

Public Mobile, being a subsidiary of Telus, uses the Telus network, and frequencies identical to those of Telus customers. Your phone is therefore compatible with Public Mobile.
