Texts Not Sending

Hello, I have looked through other posts and contacted the moderator team but had no response yet.

I am having problems sending my texts. Calls and data always work, but I frequently have full bars, but my texts don't go through. I have to go into airplane mode and then turn it off for it to work again. What do I do?

I have an Asus Zenfone 5 phone and it runs Android 8.0.0

The APN looks fine. You mention having the toggle the airplane mode to get texting to work. Does this apply to phone calls as well? For SMS, all that is required is a network connection. The APN settings is required for data and MMS. Airplane mode resets the network connection and so that could possibly be the problem. When SMS is not working, does the phone show a proper network connection?

@Fmskulj Have you tried different texting app like Android Messages or Textra?
