It looks like it is locked and needs to be unlocked to use on PM. To do that, you can contact Samsung or the provider you bought it from and they will unlock it for free of charge.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If it works on Bell, then must be locked to Bell and won't work with any other carrier. That error you received indicates that it is locked to Bell.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It is pretty simple.. find another non Bell SIM Card (I assume your S8 is from Bell) and see if that still ask you for the code. Networks are only obligated to unlock the phone when the customers ask for the phone to be unlocked, so don't assume the phone from any carrier is unlocked by default.</description>
