Are there any specific phones plans for students going back to school?

Nothing specifically to students all plans and promos are open to everyone . There are currently a couple to choose from.$40 for 4.5 gb 45 for 6 gb 50 for 8 gb

Great question. We ended up going with Public Mobile because the network coverage is so much better than Freedom. We got my son, who is starting at highschool across town, the 4.5G promotion. To get a further introductory deal, we used my friends phone number when activating. We both received a $25 credit. Plus, she will get $1 off each month as long as we stay on.

@Mike, I've noticed that PM doesn;t really advertise their promos as back-to-school offers or thigns like that. They just say promo and leave it at that. But as @mimmo mentioend there are a couple great 3G plans being offered right now, and then couple that with a $25 referral credit as @jedivision mentioned, I think are pretty nice "back-to-school" deals at the moment.
