I am in the process of switching to Koodo to take advantage of an offer sent by PM however I have not received the new SIM card and my PM bill is due on September 3rd. If this gets paid, will I get reimbursed if my PM account gets cancelled only a few days later?

Once the plan renews, Public Mobile has no obligation to refund you as the service is prepaid. There is a slim chance a moderator would work with you in your port but that support may be delayed.

What you should do is make your renewal plan to be the $10 one. You'll take the smallest hit and the port will be fine on or after the due date.

Thanks! I was just looking at switching the plan in the event that was the case. I’m not sure how I feel about either company now....

With no provider in Canada.

As for transfers / refunds of available funds, unless it's clearly stated in the offer description it would be a pure goodwill gesture - there is absolutely not obligation for PM or Koodo to do that. The $180 credit should more than cover that.
