It should work yes but only on 3g not LTE.

Yes as Cyber said LTE is faster but if you are using it for voice/text it won't make a difference as v/t only utilizes 3G regardless. It only makes a difference if using data at the moment.

To add to the discussion, 4G LTE could benefit from a stronger battery as compared to 3G only.
