      <description>&lt;P&gt;As far as I know the Blu Tank II (dumbphone) should work on the public network, however it won't connect. Your post says 3G not supported. Ergo... &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3G = UMTS/HSDPA/WCDMA.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2G = GSM&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That phone supports the 2G GSM frequencies that admittedly confusingly are the same as 3G...so then it's about the protocols being carried by the transmission. GSM != UMTS.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In the phone compatability chart in the "getting started" page I saw blu tank on there and thought it would work because it was listed.&amp;nbsp; My mistake.&amp;nbsp; Below it clearly showed it was not compatible.&amp;nbsp; I was sad because I really like that phone.&amp;nbsp; It was surprisingly durable, very simple and I only had to charge it once a month.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I bought a nokia 3310 3g and it is ok.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
