Looking to use a Samsung A50 on Public Mobile but do not see it listed. Anyone know if it is compatible?

@Mark25As long as you purchase the north american variant it should work.

When I looked to see if phone was compatible it did not appear on the list and therefore could not proceed to check

Check the specs of the phone.

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

What's currently on gsmarena suggests voice should be fine but LTE could be dodgy depending on towers in your area.

Samsung ca would suggest that LTE is fine. So yeah...where'd you get it?

Koodo is offering Samsung A50 on $0 down and medium tab $360.

If it works with Koodo, it will work with PM.

Public Mobile bands are:

- 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).

According to the Samsung A50 spec sheet, the Samsung A50 supports the following bands:

- 4G FDD LTE: B17(700), B5(850), B2(1900), B1(2100), B4(AWS), B66(AWS-3)

- 3G UMTS: B5(850), B2(1900)

In conclusion, the Samsung A50 SHOULD be compatible with Public Mobile.
