If I wish to add a second line (we purchased our first PM line last August) does a second account need to be created? If not then what is the process to add a 2nd cell line ?

Second account, second email, second number. You need to sign up as like a whole new customer. Don't forget the referral.

Just to add to the above, both accounts can be paid for with the same credit card

You cannot add a second line to your existing account. So you will need to setup a new (2nd) account use a different email address so you can get the referal savings.

Can the 2nd line/account be in the same persons name as the first account?

Yes, same name, address and credit card. Just need different email address. I have multiple accounts under my name for my family and kids.
