You could try resetting your network settings.

There were recent service issues.

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Announcements/Issue-Resolved-Dropped-calls-issue/m-p/...

Try contacting a moderator if you still have problems.

Moderator can be reached at

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

I recently got a new pixel 3 straight from Google. I switched from an iPhone 6s. Both use nano sim cards so I was able to pop the sim out of the iphone and into the pixel 3.

The pixel 3 seems to drop alot of calls and have poor connection. Like if I call my mom I can hear her fine but she hears me as static and cant understand what I am saying. This also seems to be happening with other land lines aswell. Cell calls dont seem to be effected. I always check that I have good signal before making calls but it still happens.

Could it be I need to get a new sim card?

You might want to call Google and ask for a replacement if it's still under warranty.
