topic No service in Get Support

So, this happened with me today, I turned off my cellular data and my mobile showed no service. I tried to restart the iPhone and reinsert the sim, nothing happened but then I went to my cellular and turned it on and the sim network was back working. Does anyone know why that happened? Why do I have to keep my cellular data on for the sim to show network?

Also, check your network settings and make sure it's on LTE.

I doubt it's anything account related issue. But try the sim in any other phone if you have and see if you get signal without turning on data.

Hi there,

Normally this shouldn't be an issue. Make sure your roaming options are correct (ie turned off). Other than that, you could try reseating the SIM card. Worse comes to worse, you could manually turn off the data for all of your apps.

Thanks,

Liam
