@hugh4matt You need to turn data on your phone for pic texting to work Don't worry it won't use any data it just needs to be enabled on your phone.

Yes - just to elaborate on that comment. Turn on data. Your phone will show you it used data (because it did, when it sends the picture in the text). But you won't be charged for that "texting data", and it won't be counted against your data allowance (if you have data on your plan).
